About the role:

Trident Search has partnered with an award-winning MSSP to find an experienced Technical Pre-Sales Consultant to join an established Sales Team. You will be essential in the development of commercial opportunities and understanding complex customer requirements, as well has providing technical support.

As the Technical Pre-Sales Consultant, you will attend client meetings with the Sales Account Manager to discuss technical requirements, provide consultative advice and build customer confidence in the technical solutions offered by the brand.

Responsibilities:
  • Continue to build and maintain a strong understanding of key vender technologies.
  • Contribute in-depth technical knowledge to the creation of commercial quotations.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, about technical solutions & capabilities.
  • Provide custom demos & proof of concepts for customers.
  • Attend a range of client sites to provide technical pre-sales support to account managers.
  • Provide technical handovers of sales to project teams, including the creation of pre-defined documents.
  • Stay up-to-date with personal technical/communication/commercial skills within the market.
Experience:
  • Strong understanding of Firewall and Edge network security technologies.
  • Ideally experience in a similar role within the Cyber Security industry.
  • Strong knowledge & understanding of TCP/IP and internet technologies.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Security Stack, SOAR, SIEM, EDR and cloud technologies.
  • Experience in designing high availability, resilience, integrity and security Infrastructure Solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage high level stakeholder relationships.
