Trident Search have partnered with an innovative cybersecurity organization who have recently expanded globally, they are looking for a Senior Backend Web API Developer to join their US based team.

In addition to creating their client facing products, the web development team also builds the tools used by our in-house cybersecurity experts to de-weaponize live threats.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

An Ideal candidate will have:

• Significant experience developing back end APIs supporting web client applications.

• Strong knowledge of backend languages and frameworks (prefer Python, Flask).

• Experience designing, implementing and integrating Web APIs (e.g. REST / GraphQL).

• Comfortable with asynchronous programming methodologies.

• Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis).

• Comfortable working in Linux development environment.

• Strong understanding of computer security principles.

• The desire to never stop learning.

• Familiarity with modern web technologies also nice to have (e.g. HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript).

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math is preferred.

• Must possess the highest level of personal integrity, value team success over individual achievement, and enjoy working on a fully remote team in a very high tech environment.
