Trident Search is on the hunt for a talented Associate Account Manager to join a client with a revolutionary SaaS product. With their industry-leading product, they are now looking to rapidly up-scale the business.

As the Associate Account Manager you will be managing & selling the product exciting new customers, as well as upselling & cross-selling to a roster of existing name-brand customers. You will collaborate with the Customer Success teams to maximize customer retention, minimize risk and drive growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer or prospect facing capacity and previous success in building beneficial relationships with customers, and the broader customer facing team.

Responsibilities:
  • Take full responsibility for the end-to-end renewal process.
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell & cross-sell to the existing roster of customers and manage the opportunities to closure.
  • Maximise sales profitability, account penetration and growth from existing customers.
  • Work to meet or even better, exceed revenue goals and renewal rate targets.
  • Manage complex business transactions with multiple exec-level stakeholders, to closure.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams, such as Customer Success Managers, Technical Support, Product and Professional Services etc.
  • Play a key role in identifying & escalating issues that may impact customer health and satisfaction.
  • Manage pipeline and provide forecasting (weekly, monthly, quarterly) in Salesforce to ensure success on a quarterly and annual basis for renewal and up-sell activity.
Qualifications:
    • 1 or more years of experience in a role similar to Account Manager/Customer Success/Customer Service/Sales Development.
    • Experience with cross selling and upselling.
    • Strong work ethic and quota achievement.
    • Experience with a SaaS module ideally focused on enterprise software.
    • Experience managing multiple projects and organizing the relevant workload.
    • Strong work ethic and quota achievement.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to negotiate.
    • Strong Salesforce, PowerPoint, Word, Google Suite and Excel skills.
