Job description

We have been retained by a Seed funded Cyber Threat Intelligence vendor who operate in the ransomware disruption space. They have a very unique offering and are carving out a really niche space in the CTI industry. You will be the 3rd sales professional in the organisation and have the opportunity to build your own sector/territory. This role is well suited to an entrepreneurial minded Account Exec who isn’t afraid to get stuck in to all areas of a business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Actively prospect cold leads with a preference for candidates possessing SDR experience in the cybersecurity domain.
  • Sales Management: Utilize CRM tools (preferably HubSpot) to engage with prospects, maintain lead/opportunity/deal pipelines, and track sales progress.
  • Deal Closure: Demonstrate a proven track record of closing deals, with at least 5 years of AE experience in the cybersecurity field, especially in threat intelligence. Candidates should have consistently met or exceeded sales targets for a minimum of 4 years, achieving annual new business ARR of $1M+, across both mid-sized and large organizations.
  • Partner Management: Manage and develop relationships with partners, with a preference for those having channel experience within the cybersecurity arena.
  • Networking: Maintain a robust network of first-degree connections, including CISOs and Threat Intel Directors, having directly sold to at least 100 such professionals.
  • Independence: Operate effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating the ability to navigate through ambiguity. This role requires independence due to limited marketing support and technology tools/systems.
  • A minimum of 5 years of Account Executive experience in the cybersecurity space, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in threat intelligence.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets consistently, with a history of managing annual new business ARR of $1M+.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools for sales management, with a preference for HubSpot experience.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with experience in managing partner relationships and a significant network of relevant industry contacts.
  • Ability to work independently, managing sales processes without dedicated support teams.
