Job description

Trident Search is excited to help this global cyber security firm in its hunt for a Head of Product Marketing.

You will be pivotal in delivering value to our customers and partners, actively participating in product strategy, research, positioning, and go-to-market. Product marketing managers serve as the connective tissue between product, sales, customer success, and the executive team to align priorities and ensure all stakeholders understand how the product delivers value to customers.

Effective PMMs exhibit a blend of marketing, technical, analytical, and communication skills that can be leveraged to translate an understanding of the customer and market into compelling stories that drive product selling.

Here's how you'll make a difference:
  • Become a research mastermind, developing a framework for gathering customer insights and translating them into actionable strategies. Coach your team to conduct regular research across various segments, from net-new prospects to churned customers, shaping our narrative and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Craft winning go-to-market plans by developing a template for strategic, data-driven plans, ensuring new product initiatives launch flawlessly. Work cross-functionally to synchronise ICPs and personas with sales and marketing, guaranteeing a unified approach.
  • Master the messaging, and lead your team in crafting impactful messaging that resonates with our target audience. Develop campaign briefs and support global sales enablement initiatives, translating complex concepts into clear, compelling communication.
  • Become a thought leader, establish yourself as the voice of the platform, speak at global events, and contribute to thought leadership content, furthering our position in the market and influencing analysts.
We're seeking a T-shaped marketer with:
  • 8-10 years of experience in product marketing or related fields (demand generation or growth marketing a plus).
  • Exceptional writing skills, capable of crafting engaging go-to-market materials, briefing documents, and sales enablement collateral.
  • A data-driven approach, using insights to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies.
  • A natural leader with the ability to coach and motivate a team, prioritise effectively, and navigate conflicting demands.
  • Passion for continuous learning and testing, embracing a dynamic environment where market research reigns supreme.
