Trident Search continues its strong growth trajectory with an expansion into the United States market and the creation of a dedicated USA team. In addition, Mike Susong, an experienced corporate security executive and former CIA professional, joins the organisation as Chairman.

With his impressive industry experience, including co-founding the cyber threat intelligence (CTI) company iSIGHT Partners (acquired by FireEye), and strategic insight into the dynamic US cyber security market, Mike will play a crucial role in building out our operations in the States.
Through replicating the successful Trident Search model in this new market, we will provide the highest quality of service and speed of execution to US clients and candidates. Extending the company’s military pedigree, Mike brings to Trident the mission and team focus he developed as a combat veteran in the US Army, complementing the experience of veteran co-founders Josh Keeley and Charlee-Ben Ryman. Having been on the client-side at multinationals Fujitsu, Visa and Ernst&Young, Mike has a deep-seated understanding of the need for recruitment partners to know the nuances of a client’s business and recognise the critical role recruitment plays.
As a CIA operations officer, Mike was awarded the Intelligence Star for Heroism in the field. He is a Certified Information Security Manager CISM™ and Certified Protection Professional CPP™, as well as holding a master’s degree in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University, Washington DC.
