As Head of Sales, you will be instrumental in driving sales strategy and operational excellence. This player-manager role requires you to actively engage in both leadership and direct sales activities. You will not only guide the sales team towards achieving ambitious goals but also directly contribute to sales efforts, particularly in key account management. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity where you will play a pivotal role in shaping thus success of the business.
Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies and organise the sales team in the most appropriate structure. Establish efficient ways of working to align with the company's objectives.
Team Development and Coaching: Coach and mentor AEs and SDRs. Manage their activities and set clear individual and team goals to drive performance.
Hands-On Sales Engagement: Directly engage in key account management and deal closures. Dive into complex sales scenarios alongside reps, utilizing your expertise to influence positive outcomes.
Recruitment and Talent Management: Hire and efficiently onboard new sales representatives. Focus on building a team capable of meeting the evolving needs of a fast-growing startup.
Operational Excellence and Collaboration: Ensure that operational processes support strategic sales objectives. Work collaboratively with marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure a unified approach to sales.
Performance Analysis and Reporting: Regularly review and manage the sales pipeline. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, leveraging CRM systems and sales analytics tools for insights.
You have been responsible for and achieved a revenue goal of €10 million or greater as
a sales leader.
You possess more than 5 years of experience in selling cybersecurity software to enterprise accounts, with a history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Your experience includes at least 2 years in sales management, demonstrating the ability to lead and mentor sales teams in a high-growth environment.
Your approach to sales is entrepreneurial, adept at navigating the dynamics of a young commercial organization.
You have demonstrated success in working within startup environments, adapting to rapidly changing conditions.
You are proficient in CRM systems and analytics tools, with a strong ability to leverage data to drive sales strategy.
You have a history of effective collaboration with product teams, ensuring sales strategies align with product development and market needs.
Experience with the MEDIC/MEDDPICC qualification methodology.
Direct experience scaling sales organizations through hiring and process building.
Managed a multi-continental sales organization.
A strong professional network within the cybersecurity industry.
