Trident Search are on the lookout for a Security Operations Analyst who will be responsible for protecting the business, responding to incidents, developing the tooling and capability and ultimately improving the security posture of the business.

This is a hands-on role and you’ll be helping shape / develop their capability, supporting on exciting new projects and its transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Providing SME on detection, protection and incident response of security threats

• Ensuring the operational processes are documented and kept up to date

• Ensuring the response capabilities are mature and continuously developed or automated where necessary

• Liaising with the wider Information Security team and support the wider business in their assurance activities.

Experience/skills required:

• Given the relative age and maturity of the cyber security profession – the list below is not exhaustive, as long as they can meet the majority and are looking to develop the rest – please do apply:

• At least 18 months work experience in a Security Operations capacity

• Knowledge in SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, IPS/IDS, web filtering and more

• Knowledge of Cloud Security

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
