Job description

 

Trident Search are working with a global client who are on a journey to build out a next generation security team. They are looking at adding to the their existing internal security team and are on the hunt for three Internal security business partners.

The main responsibilities of the role will be working with stakeholders within the business to help reduce risk and improve security across new projects and BAU activities.

This role is based north of London (Near Milton Keynes) and they would ideally like people who are happy to come into the office once or twice a week. This is not set in stone.

 

The Role

 

  • Work with senior leaders to understand their business area and how security enable to them to operate effectively
  • Understands security policies and how they can be implemented across the business
  • Provide monthly reports and maintain business risk register
  • Able to identify and hold business risk owners accountable
  • Working with the wider security team on strategic guidance and reduction of risk
  • To be able to mitigate risk and resolve any internal issues that may arise
  • Working closely with the assurance teams to ensure projects are in line with business expectation
  • Work with the Compliance Manager, DPO and Data management lead to achieve business goals
  • Creation of security policies within your dedicated area
  • Engage with the Digital Assurance team to ensure that your assigned business area deploys and maintains the right data controls and principles to uphold confidentiality and integrity of key data areas within your assigned business area.
  • Act as a subject matter specialist to the business with a focus on providing advice, guidance, and recommendations to your assigned business area
  • Support the Information Security Incident response process as required.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of working within  heavily regulated environments.
  • The ability to deal with senior leadership teams at board level
  • Significant experience across information security
  • Industry recognised certifications are desirable
  • Desirably a strong technical  background in IT / Cyber security but this is not essential
