Job description


We have partnered with a growing MSSP who are based in London. They are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join the current team and help look after the key business accounts. We are ideally looking for someone from a Cyber/MSSP background who is familiar with working and selling cyber security managed services to a range of industries.


  • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships

  • Finding, developing and ultimately winning new opportunities within your assigned accounts

  • Securing all renewal opportunities within your assigned accounts

  • Overseeing client account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximise revenue and profit

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters

  • Be a subject matter expert on your accounts, study them carefully and use this knowledge to open new opportunities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships

  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise revenue and profits

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, client stakeholders and executive sponsors

  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets

  • Forecast accurately and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

  • If you do not understand something, you are confident enough to ask questions without fear Skills and experience:

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role

  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level

  • Solid experience with CRM software

  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to client needs

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
