About the Role

We’ve been retained by a Series B cyber vendor focused on network exploitation, who operate within the DoD and Intel community.

I’m searching for someone with deep experience in these sectors—someone who’s already sold into the DoD, the intelligence community, and other government agencies, and can navigate the complex sales processes involved.

You'll need to be a US citizen, based in the US, and have a proven track record in handling long and intricate sales cycles. If you're passionate about the defense and intelligence space, and you're ready to drive real impact, this could be an exciting next step.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Shaping the US Sales Strategy: You’ll take ownership of crafting and executing a winning sales strategy specifically for the defense and intelligence sectors, including engaging with the DoD and other intelligence agencies.
  • Market Expansion: You’ll spearhead efforts to grow presence across key regions. This means identifying the right market opportunities and building meaningful business relationships.
  • Owning the Sales Process: From lead identification to deal closure—you’ll be managing every stage of the sales process.
  • Business Development: You’ll actively source and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Managing Complex Sales Cycles: You’ll handle multiple sales opportunities simultaneously, ensuring each one progresses from the first meeting to contract closure.
  • Building Strong Relationships: You’ll nurture and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, partners, and customers across the target regions.
  • Working with Resellers and Agents: You’ll collaborate with resellers and agents to make sure solutions are well-represented and effectively distributed.
What I’m looking for:
  • At least 4 years of technology sales experience, where you've consistently hit or surpassed revenue goals and closed significant deals.
  • Experience selling to DoD and national security agencies.
  • A strong track record in new account development.
  • You must be a US citizen and willing to travel as needed.
  • The ability to obtain and hold a US security clearance.
Bonus Points for:
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes.
  • Experience working in startups or entrepreneurial environments.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
