About the Role
Trident Search are working with a fast-growing technical consultancy focused on tackling complex challenges related to national security. Their approach involves innovative solutions to address intricate data issues, enabling organisations to make well-informed decisions more rapidly. We are currently looking for a seasoned Senior Security Architect to enhance their security resilience through various projects and programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of national security requirements and the ability to apply security design and implementation principles to meet these needs. Innovation and the application of advanced techniques to achieve greater resilience will be key aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Hybrid role with 2-3 days working from our office (London/Cheltenham) or client sites as required.
We are currently looking for a seasoned Senior Security Architect to enhance their security resilience through various projects and programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of national security requirements and the ability to apply security design and implementation principles to meet these needs. Innovation and the application of advanced techniques to achieve greater resilience will be key aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client engagements as a subject matter expert in cyber security
- Assess and manage clients' needs and stakeholder relationships
- Communicate risks effectively and adapt industry best practices to address cybersecurity challenges
- Design and implement security management strategies, applying security principles to minimize risk
- Develop and communicate security policies, standards, and guidelines
- Create strategies for information control and monitor market trends for their impact on business strategies
- Conduct security risk assessments and recommend control improvements
- Develop new architectures to address risks associated with emerging technologies
- Deliver high-quality work on time and take initiative in client engagements and company strategy
- Experience in reviewing and designing complex systems
- Degree-level education and extensive experience in cybersecurity
- Proficiency in implementing controls and policies across different information schemas
- Experience leading teams, projects, and security forums
- Client delivery experience with various cyber technologies
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO27001, NIST, TOGAF
- Demonstrated continuous personal development with relevant certifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- UK security clearance at SC level or eligibility and willingness to obtain clearance
