Trident Search are partnered with a leading technology company specialising in advanced cybersecurity and intelligence solutions. Currently they are seeking to hire an accomplished Account Executive to join their international sales team, supporting new business growth within the DACH government market. This innovative organisation empowers government and intelligence entities by providing the tools needed to counter digital threats, protect critical infrastructure, and ensure national security.

The role requires an experienced sales professional with a deep understanding of the DACH market, specifically within government and intelligence sectors. Ideal candidates must be DACH citizens, based in either Germany or Austria, and have strong communication skills with a proven track record in managing complex sales cycles.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at the defence and intelligence sectors, with a focus on engaging with intelligence agencies and units
- Lead efforts to establish and expand the company’s footprint in the DACH region by identifying key market opportunities and building strong business relationships
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals
- Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities in target markets
- Oversee multiple, multi-layered sales cycles, ensuring the successful closure of intricate deals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, partners, and clients
- Work with resellers and agents to ensure effective distribution and representation of the company’s solutions
- Minimum of 4 years of experience exceeding revenue targets in technology sales, with a proven track record of securing significant, complex deals
- Strong background in B2G sales within intelligence agencies, units, or military intelligence
- Demonstrated success in new account development
- Fluent in both German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must hold citizenship in Germany or Austria and be able to obtain relevant security clearances
- Willingness to travel as required
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Familiarity with government procurement processes
- Experience in startup or entrepreneurial environments
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Previous experience working within intelligence agencies or related fields is highly desirable
- Multilingual capabilities are an advantage
